Trinity Food Cupboard

What we do

The Trinity Food Cupboard is a ministry of the congregation of Trinity Church. We exist to share the message of God’s love through caring for our neighbours in a practical way: we provide food free of charge to those who need it in Cornwall and the surrounding area.

unfortunately, the food cupboard is closed during the covid-19 pandemic.

The Cupboard is open the second and fourth Monday of every month from 9AM – 10AM. The Cupboard is located off the Second St. entrance, closest to Augustus St. It is staffed by a team of regular volunteers who help distribute the food.

How to get involved

The Food Cupboard could not exist without the regular donations of money, food and time from congregants.

Donating Money
Donations of money help us to purchase food in bulk and to take advantage of sale prices. Donations marked “Trinity Food Cupboard” can be given on the offering plate at any regular worship service.

Donating Food
Favourite food donations include Kraft Dinner, tinned soups, flakes of ham, tea, coffee, breakfast cereal, tinned vegetables, beans, pasta sauce, small jars of peanut butter, and dry pasta.

Donating Time
New volunteers are always welcome to help with food distribution during operating hours, to help shopping, and to prepare food stuffs ahead of operating hours.
