We've Hired!
The Corporation of Trinity Church is pleased to announce the hiring of Kacper Waclawski as Music Director, effective February 1, 2021.
Kacper has a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Ottawa and has served at St. Stephen’s and St. Richard’s, Ottawa as their music director. He has a strong foundation in traditional choral music from his formative years at St. Matthew’s under Matthew Larkin. He is also a lover of jazz and contemporary music in all it’s many forms, both sacred and secular.
Kacper is an enterprising educator and musician, owning and operating a Montessori School in Russell (where he resides with his wife and children). Kacper is a collaborator, and he is looking forward to working together with congregational, parish and community musicians!
The Corporation is deeply grateful for the Music Director Search Team members (Penny Bedard, Lesley Ellam, and The Reverend Colin McFarland, and Tim Piper; ably supported by Carol Sinclair, Director of Human Resources for the Diocese) for their work in bringing our search to a happy and fruitful conclusion!
