Anglican Church Women (ACW)

Who We Are

The Anglican Church Women of Canada is a nation-wide fellowship of all women in the Anglican Church of Canada whose purpose is

to give the women of the Anglican Church the opportunity to unite in a fellowship of worship, study, and service which will lead then into Christian service in the parish, community, diocese, nation, and world.

~ Preamble, Constitution and Bylaws of the National Executive

Trinity Church has a long and distinguished history of ACW ministry that continues to be an invaluable part of our congregation’s ministry in Cornwall.

What we do

Trinity’s ACW is involved in many forms of outreach and service within and beyond the walls of Trinity Church. It is nationally and globally minded, offering prayers and financial support to various Christian ministries including Bales for the North, the Akany lFamongena orphanage and Akany Tafita Day School in Madagascar, support for orphans in Romania, and contributions to the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund.

In service to the congregation of Trinity Church, ACW members offer their time, skills, energy, and finances to support pastoral and hospitality ministries of Trinity Church such as the Trinity Church Food Cupboard, catering for special occassions, and its semi-annual community luncheons and rummage sales. See our parish calendar for luncheon and sale dates.
